Detailed description of proposal:
  1. Subdivision of Erven 50 and 212 in accordance with Section 15(2)(d) of the Cederberg Municipality Land Use Planning By-Law (PG 8062 of 15 March 2019), to create the following portions:
  1. Erf 50 into 2 portions, namely Portion A1 (±3.26ha in extent) and Remainder Erf 50 Elandsbaai.
  2. Erf 212 into 3 portions, namely Portion B1 (±2027m² in extent), Portion B2 (±5303m² in extent) and Remainder Erf 212 Elandsbaai.
  1. Consolidation of Portions A1, B2 and unregistered Erf 731 in accordance with Section 15(2)(e) of the Cederberg Municipality Land Use Planning By-Law (PG 8062 of 15 March 2019), to create a new land unit (±4.3 ha in extent).
  2. Subdivision of the consolidated land unit in accordance with Section 15(2)(d) of the Cederberg Municipality Land Use Planning By-Law (PG 8062 of 15 March 2019), to create 2 portions, namely Portion C1 (±2.9 ha in extent) and Portion C2 (±1.4 ha in extent).

 

  1. Rezoning of Portion C2 in accordance with Section 15(2)(a) of the Cederberg Municipality Land Use Planning By-Law (PG 8062 of 15 March 2019) from Community Zone 1 and Undetermined Zone to Authority & Utility Zone to accommodate an authority use which includes a waste drop-off facility.

Notice is hereby given in terms of section 45 of the Cederberg Municipality By-law on Municipal Land Use Planning that the abovementioned application has been received and is available for inspection during weekdays between 08:30 and 15:00 at the office of the Cederberg Municipality, at the Town Planning & Building Control Department, 2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam. Any written comments may be addressed in terms of section 50 of the said legislation to Private Bag X2, Clanwilliam, 8135, or fax number (027) 482 1933, for the attention of Mr. A. Neethling, on or before 30 days from the date of publication of this notice, quoting your, name, address or contact details, interest in the application and reasons for comments. The comments can be emailed to landuse@cederberg.gov.za. Telephonic enquiries can be made to Mr. A. Neethling at (027) 482 8000. The Municipality may refuse to accept comments received after the closing date. Any person who cannot write will be assisted by a Municipal official by transcribing their comments.
