COUNCIL REACHING OUT TO VULNERABLE HOUSEHOLD

He led by example when he identified a vulnerable household in Lamberts Bay who was hit by sickness, a widow loses her husband years ago in a household fire, now a single mother who struggle for survival.

By visiting her in her Wendy house without electricity, it became imperative to do his part in restoring dignity to this lady.

Department of Human Settlement, who is the driven department in vulnerable housing assistance, immediate acted on this call for assistance.

Within a week the Wendy house was fully equip with a pre-paid electrical meter.
